Very little choice

Top-notch product and quality, not against the salespeople: there were 4 of them, 3 sitting at the checkout, on their phones, saw us struggling but didn't move. After a small remark, they started to stare and threaten. Unacceptable, I've never seen that. I'm not even talking about hello or anything else that we didn't get, but it was too much to ask to be informed. Luckily Mattéo was there. He single-handedly took care of us, a woman for sandals and a couple for shoes. He runs the store single-handedly.

The staff is very friendly, the quality is top-notch, and if you're lucky, you might find some discontinued items at really, really great prices. I saw some shoes I bought on sale for around 85... 90 euros instead of 130, which had dropped to 50 euros here 😱. Well, they weren't my size at all, but that's just to illustrate things. Others were as much as 40 euros, and there were quite a few sizes available. In short, a quick look around won't hurt, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Don't bother asking the woman who works there if she knows anything about shoes... I think she's here because she's a master of her subject 😅. Don't hesitate to ask, the staff was really nice 👌🇫🇷👍. Limited choice but hey it’s from the outlet so surely normal. On the other hand, the staff is useless. Not a hello, not a nod, nothing really. The two salespeople were surprised to see me come out of the fitting room. Each time, there is no reception, no information...you have to go there if you know what you are looking for otherwise move on, other stores have salespeople who take care of you.

A very bad experience. Having done Christmas shopping for several of my relatives, I received a 25% discount on the standard price of the items. After the holidays, I went back to the store to exchange one of the items, and to do so, the salesperson forced me to pay the amount of the discount granted on the initial purchase. I find this business practice shameful and call it a scam!!! It's a shame that this deplorable policy is harming my experience at Columbia, because I otherwise love their products.

I really like the brand and the store, however the store staff are very ungrateful! I found a sewing defect on an item purchased 1 year before, and which I wanted to buy a second time, it was explained to me that this sewing defect cannot be covered under the warranty supposedly because I already had the same problem on the same item purchased a year earlier!!! The lady even told me NOT to buy the product! Where is the meaning of criticism in that as part of continuous improvement! The conditions of sale and reimbursement are known by the rules of Columbia and not on the basis of the appreciation of the staff or even more of the head of the customer. I bought shoes for short hikes. Shoes marked waterproof but not waterproof at all. Very disappointed. Feet completely soaked every time I went out. Came to equip me for my hikes for my vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to find very welcoming and warm staff. Very clear and detailed explanations on the different technical products. The seller was able to quickly identify my needs and respond to them!!! I am leaving this store more than delighted and will come back for sure!!!

After purchasing T-shirts as a gift for our son, one of the styles was completely wrong for his actual size (much too big). We returned the only offending T-shirt (out of six purchased) with the receipt, but after removing the tag (gift), eight days after purchase (son lives in Annecy). The store manager absolutely refused to exchange or refund this T-shirt, which was not his size because it had "no tag." I find this attitude deplorable from a store that should recognize that its outlet stores also serve to peddle non-compliant products. So the T-shirt will end up as a rag, but we will not return to this store, for which we have given a very poor review.
