Columbia Outlet Ingolstadt

I am extremely outraged by the way potential customers are treated. First, items are marked with a reduced price, but at the checkout, I'm told this isn't correct and the price tag is simply torn off. When questioned, the store manager even suggests that I (as a private individual) marked them myself. How is that even possible with 20 items??? Unfortunately, no one at Columbia answers the phone to explain this behavior. Marked merchandise must be sold as marked. There must be video surveillance showing that the merchandise was marked as such and that the red price tags were torn off. I do not recommend Columbia Village Ingolstadt.

The staff in the shop were unfortunately unfriendly and rude. We bought a pair of ski pants shortly before closing time. Before purchasing, we asked if the pants could be returned. This was confirmed without any restrictions. An exchange would be possible within 28 days. Since we didn't have much time to try them on, we decided to buy the pants, assuming a return would be possible. Two days later, when we wanted to return the pants, the employee pointed to the receipt, which stated that returns were only possible for store credit. Had we been informed of this beforehand, we wouldn't have bought the pants. The receipt with the return policy is only given after purchase. We had specifically asked about it beforehand. When I argued with the salesperson, he went into the stockroom mid-conversation without saying a word and only returned after a considerable amount of time. He probably hoped I would have left by the time he came back. After complaining to store management, they immediately referred to the legal situation and pointed out that a sign with the return policy was posted at the checkout. We didn't notice this sign. We did ask, however, and received an incomplete answer. Unfortunately, the voucher can't even be used in Columbia's online shop, but only in their outlet stores, where the selection is very limited. The staff there are unfriendly and disrespectful. Management shows absolutely no interest in finding a satisfactory solution. I would never shop there again. Unfortunately, I have to shop there if I don't want to lose the voucher.

I was gifted a ski jacket from my husband for Christmas, which he bought a bigger than my usual size since I was pregnant at the time and of course he didn't know what size I would be after. He unfortunately took the tags off and lost the receipt. I explained this all of this to the man that was working and he gave me a weird look as if I was lying to him. He never once looked at the jacket. I told him, I do not want money back I just wanted the same exact jacket just in a different size. And if there was a price difference I would 100% pay it. He just said "no I don't know if you wore the jacket and it's store policy." However, according to the company website it states that if there is no tag or receipt, you would receive store credit only and at the lowest price the item has been at the store. Which I was 100000% okay with and happy to pay the difference if there was one. He just kept refusing and saying no. Clearly there was no point in arguing with a worker who one doesn't know his store policy and two showed that he didn't believe me from the beginning of the conversation. Which why would I lie and want the same exact jacket and willing to pay for a difference? He questioned why did my husband get a size that wasn't mine, none of his business but I wanted him to understand the situation better so he would stop talking to me and treating me like I was lying, I was pregnant at the time he got the jacket but by Christmas time the baby was born and I have another Columbia jacket that runs a little small in a size L so I told him to size up to be safe. I wasn't aware of the jacket he was going to get me so I didn't know how the jacket would fit or if it would run small/big/true to size or what size I would be after having a baby. I ended up just re buying the jacket again in my size (M). I understand that XL to M is a big change-but again I did not know the fit/look of the jacket and I just based it off an old Columbia rain jacket I have. It's just unfortunate that I asked nicely and explained the situation and the employee just didn't seem to care or want to help and treated me like a lier. Especially when before I took the chance to exchange it and drove 1+ hour to the store just for that I looked up the store policy on the Columbia website and it said it was possible. 0/10 customers service.

We were in the store a few days ago. My husband was interested in a sweater, which unfortunately was no longer available in the size he wanted. My husband then noticed that the doll was the size he wanted and asked if it was possible to buy this sweater. The employee took the trouble to take the sweater off the doll and we bought it. The (apparent) boss then came to the friendly employee and scolded him quite badly and was also unfriendly to us. When it comes to customer orientation, the boss can still learn a lot from his employees! 5 stars for the employee. 0 stars for the “boss”.

As part of the "Fashion Stars" campaign, I specifically wanted to buy a promoted vest and was there right on time for the store's opening at 9 a.m. To my surprise, however, I was immediately informed that the vest was no longer available. How can it be that a product that is actively promoted is no longer available by the time the store opens? This seems like either extremely poor planning or simply misleading advertising. The whole thing was a huge disappointment for me, and it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. If you're going to attract customers with certain products, they should actually be available, at least in limited quantities...

We came here because we thought we couldn't leave without stopping by the Columbia store in Ingolstadt Village, and we did it right. The assortment was quite large here, but there were deficiencies in sizes. It was a little difficult to find staff in the store, they were usually only at the cash register. When we asked, they tried to help remotely, but we would have expected a more attentive service because there are no bodies and it can be difficult to inquire. However, we were able to shop by trying the products ourselves and were generally satisfied. If a better customer experience is provided, shopping can be much more enjoyable.

In the Outlet Market in Ingolstadt near Munich. The prices are reasonable, especially if you compare it to Turkey, it is at least 1/3 cheaper. However, since it is an outlet, you may not be able to find the model you like in your size. However, it may be because we went on "Black Friday".

It is a very small store and the product range is very small. You may not find every product you want. The main problem is that it is supposed to be an outlet store, but the prices show the opposite. I personally don't like this store very much, I would never want to go to this columbia store in Ingolstadt village unless it is a product I really want. If we talk about Munich, which is actually a bigger city than Ingolstadt in general, it is not very common to see American brands. I don't know why, but as far as I know there is only one Columbia store in Munich.

There is also an extra discount from time to time. There is a great employee named Angel who works there. Ask ANGEL for anything you want and she will help you. You can shop without knowing German. Angel speaks very good Turkish. You can buy original products as branded products at very cheap prices. Well, what are you waiting for? I bought shoes for 40 euros and it cost 800 TL. It was a reasonable purchase. I definitely recommend it. I don't need to explain the quality of the products. I wish you a good shopping.
