Fantastic shop! They organize treasure hunts for children in Chamonix, both in winter and summer. It's a great way to discover the town. The staff are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this shop!

Superb store

I walked in and saw three saleswomen at the counter chatting, one sitting on the counter! None of them said hello or welcomed me. Same thing when I left! It's a shame, I really liked this brand, and I've bought quite a few things from it in the past. I won't be going back.

Terrible welcome I was looking for an ultra-lightweight down jacket, and the saleswoman simply told me she didn't know how much down jackets weigh and that she wasn't paid to weigh them 😡😡😡

I went to get equipped to take up mountain hiking again. The store was recommended to me by a friend. It's a lovely shop, with beautiful items: shirts, shoes, a windbreaker. I stocked up. After using it, I'm very happy with my purchases. Antoine deserves all my gratitude for his welcome, his kindness, his advice, and his availability.

This store needs to tell each customer before the sale that items are non refundable. At most Columbia stores, you're given time to get a refund, but at this establishment the policy is different so customers beware. They have a notice at the register and way at the bottom it says items are non refundable. I missed the notice and when I attempted to get a refund today they refused. The store manager was not helpful and in fact tried to blame me for not asking before the sale if the jacket was refundable. He needs training and does not know how to deal with situations like this. Customer service is everything and this guy was cocky, disrespectful and repeatedly tried to keep blaming me for not understanding the store's policy. I hope upper management reads this and gives this manager training so he can handle these situations better next time. Visited the store in the afternoon on January 29, 2025. UPDATE: Columbia Chamonix: You need to do the right thing and make the refund. Don't just put a random statement below to make your store look good and act like you really care about your customers. You never even addressed your refund policy!

Store staff, Antoine, was extremely rude and disrespectful when we asked for assistance. I spent money in The store and would immediately regret it. I personally regret giving my business to this specific location.

I bought a down jacket made of duck down, which kept me warm on the second day of travel.

My uncle and I had the chance to meet Paul during our urgent visit to Chamonix for some equipment, and I must say he's one of the friendliest and most professional salespeople I've ever met 😁 Not only did he take the time to fully understand our needs, but he also greatly accommodated us commercially with flexibility and generosity that far exceeded what we could have hoped for 🙏🏼 A big thank you again to Paul 🏔️🦾

They are very kind and have a professional information about clothes. So I can find good clothes easily. And If you want to buy Chamonix souvenir, I recommend here. They have a Chamonix T-shirt. It is very good quality.

The seller communicates and is pleasant, there are effective choices with very warm coats using technologies that they have developed to cope with all situations. Sometimes it remains a little expensive (in the 100-170€ range) but it remains reasonable for this quality and compared to other stores which are less lenient on prices.

The. Salesperson was attentive when I tripped on the higher than usual step to the upper floor but did comment the step was dangerous. I sustained an arm and knee injury.

Foram muito solícitos e conseguimos resolver o problema relatado anteriormente. Muito obrigada. Good evening! I was there 10/09 (october, 9) buying a coat. I was with my two daughters and my husband. I bought a coat that was 140 euros and payed by credit card. The attendant told me the machine didn’t accepted the payment and then I inserted the card and the password again. Today morning I was checking my credit card receipt and it was payed two times! I tried to contact the credit card and they told me I have to contact directly the store because it was a mistake in the moment of the payment. Can you make the refund for me, please? If you need I can send you the receipt and the information in my credit card, but I think you have it there and the attendant probably remember us because we were in family and spent some time at the store. Hope you answer me as soon as possible. I’m not in France anymore so I can’t go personally. Thank you.

Very friendly, professional and commercial staff. Having purchased a parka in 2020, it turned out to be defective. Unfortunately I was unable to return to the Chamonix store in the meantime to deal with this; Columbia customer service required me to go through the latter. Despite the warranty having expired, the manager nevertheless agreed to exchange the product and send it to my home free of charge. I thank him and his team for the effort and the commercial gesture made. I highly recommend this store

Really great welcome from the seller despite our late arrival on Sunday (7:30 p.m.). Beyond advice on clothing, the seller also advised us on a mountain bike ride and local restaurants! Thank you very much and see you next time!

Went to buy a top in my normal size without trying it on and the man behind the till correctly warned me that this particular top ran a size larger than normal. Saved me a return trip.

Decent store, not very big, but nicely organized. Unfortunately there was not a lot of choice when it comes to women. When I visited they had a sale, and there were some pretty good deals. Staff was very pleasant to talk to, especially the male, he spoke perfect English and was very helpful. Even gave me additional 10% discount since I was buying the last backpack. Great customer service.

Disappointing!!! At under 30, a "salesperson" who's bordering on disrespectful, haughty, doesn't listen, anticipates your questions and misses the mark. A difficult and unpleasant experience. The second floor has ladies' and children's items. There are no staff on the second floor. They take a lunch break after noon, so I was told to leave early.
