Not much choice

I had a fantastic experience with support at this branch. I had bought a jacket, and after the first wash, the zip was damaged. I just take it back to maybe fix it since it has been more than one month since I bought that. The manager was a young and super nice guy; he changed it with a new one. We visited the Columbia store in Metzingen on December 29, 2025. Unfortunately, we felt like we were in another world. Other clothes were piled up on the floor, and the fitting room was unusable because everything was scattered everywhere. After we finally managed to pull an employee out of his private conversation, the only response was: "Well, there's nothing he can do." We've been to many Columbia stores, but this one is by far the most disorganized of them all.

Metzingen has one of the three major Outlet Cities in Germany, and it offers products at incredibly affordable prices. It's a place you can spend hours exploring! 😎

The prices are reasonable, there's a wide variety, but the sizes are limited. They usually only have S or XL sizes.

The merchandise may be good and the staff nice and friendly, but I've never seen such a disorganized store. Shopping there is simply stressful. I was there during the week; we had already bought some items, but you can't get through the narrow aisles, and even employees suddenly block the way. The fitting rooms are messy and chaotic, as are the items on the racks.

Not every style is available, but outlet prices are quite reasonable, with an additional 30% discount during Black Week, making it even more affordable. The place is small, but they bring whatever size you need from the upstairs warehouse.

Hello, I visited between November 6-7, 2025. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased. The staff were extremely helpful. The products are of very high quality. I think the space is a bit small; a slightly larger space would be nice. It would also be nice to have some new products, especially coats and shoes.

The prices were fantastic. I don't know if they're always like this, but it's worth checking out.

I'm disappointed with the store. Keyword: QUALITY. I bought my first pair of Columbia pants over 10 years ago (not at the Metzingen outlet). The quality of the pants impressed me back then. After 5-7 years, I bought a second pair from the company (same/similar model). Excellent quality. I still wear them regularly. Only the color intensity of the pants isn't as intense as it was on the first day, but the pants serve their purpose. No flaws. Now I've bought another pair of pants from the Columbia store in the Metzingen outlet. The quality of the pants is poor. I discovered this after 3 weeks. The fabric used for the pockets is coming apart. I compared them directly with my old Columbia pants (see photos). Using that fabric for outdoor hiking pants is a no-go.

Hello Columbia family. I've been using your products for a long time, but this is the first time I've seen a treat like this branch. I couldn't even look at the products I wanted to buy because of the rudeness of the employees. There have never been such unprofessional employees in an institution like you. There are not many alternative stores in Germany anyway, and when it happens like this, I give up buying your products.

Be very careful — do not trust When packing the 1 jacket and 3 t-shirts that I paid for, the seller only put the jacket in the bag and didn’t include the t-shirts. When I called, they took my email and said they would tell their boss, but nobody got back to me. I couldn’t go back because I had a flight the next morning. Terrible service — I still can’t reach anyone.

Instead, we experienced a rather disappointing form of negligence—if not intentional deception—from a store employee seemingly eager to meet their daily sales quota. This wasn't just a mistake; It was a textbook example of how to completely disregard a customer's trust. I sincerely hope this message reaches someone in a position of responsibility at Columbia, and that appropriate action is taken. There is a wonderful lady who works here. She solves all your problems and does her best to help the customers. As far as I can see, the customers of the store are mostly Turkish. The lady's English is also great. In this sense, she tries to help all foreigners. I am very happy to know her and I would like to thank her again through this message. Also, this store is one of the places that every Turk should see before they die 🥹

I was there with my brother a few weeks ago and I really liked it. All the staff were very friendly, especially the big one with the bald head and the beard. I told him what I needed and as soon as I made my request, the jacket I was looking for was there. I was able to have a conversation with him on an equal footing and he was able to advise me very well. He answered every question for me and I also laughed with him. He definitely has a sense of humor!!! Respect to him, employees like these are what you want to have as a customer. I'll definitely be back!!!

While I was looking around, I overheard an employee explaining to his colleague his worldview, according to which women had no rights and had to listen to what their partners allowed or forbade them to do. The employee fought back desperately. I commented that one of the principles of our constitution is the equality of men and women and that I would not like to have to listen to this conversation. He simply turned away and continued talking to his Kolkegin. Columbia, you can make your marketing as colorful and diverse as you want, I won't set foot in your store anymore! Very, very problematic something like that...

There was an employee with red hair and a red beard, he was between 21 and 24 years old. He shouted at me and insulted me violently just because I spoke Turkish. It's very bad for a brand like him and I will complain that they have such bad employees.

The male Turkish salesman was very rude as I tried on three to four coats and threatened to call security. I left my purchase worth 400 to 500 euros and left.

The young Turkish employee here behaves very rudely towards the customers. He argues with customers and threatens to throw them out of the store.

It's hard to find someone who helps. Maybe they were tired of the crowd, I don't know. Sizes are often too small or too large.

You really need to improve your customer service!!! It does not exist! When I arrived at Columbia store my husband was in the fitting room and I asked the guy and the entrance to le me in as I was going at the fitting room where my husband was. Because there were people lining outside he said I should line (around one hour) if I want to enter the shop or my husband to come out from the fitting room to prove that he was there. So after my husband was waiting a lot to enter the fitting room as the store was really busy, he was now suppose to go out to prove to the entrance guy that we are together. READ that again please! So he was sending me photos from the fitting room as I was not allowed by the your employee to enter. Is the customer valued for Columbia? Is the store customer service oriented? In the end you address to CUSTOMERS. I hope you understand my point and you train your employees according to customer service policy. You should treat you customer the way you want to be treated when you are a customer!

A very small store. Very few products. We wanted to buy shoes, but everything is very expensive and there is nothing to choose from. We also looked at winter jackets, but again there are almost no models, and the prices are high. Yes, the staff is friendly. But we were there during the sales season, but the prices are very high. And a lot of customers, but there is little space, unfortunately.

Compared to the numerous outdoor shops in the outlet market these days, it's one of the most affordable. It's a bit small, but the advice is good. So far, I've almost always found what I was looking for 👍🏼
